The M8F was last of the M8 series. It had a lengthened tub, new suspension with parallel rear links, revised geometry, and thinner side fences. Denny won several races. The car was sold to Young American Racing for the 1972 Can Am season. Greg Young flipped the car at Edmonton severely damaging it. It was sold to Commander Motor Homes for the 1973 season. They modified it with a turbo engine and increased the fuel capacity with a tank behind the seat. They stopped work on it when Andretti refused to drive an "old car".
